jack, get back

Best get-up-and-clean-the-house-right-now-song of all time?

Footloose, by Kenny Loggins.

Everybody cut, everybody cut.

I will concede that The Chicks (of the Dixie persuasion) can get me into one hell of a groove, but if I'm really dragging, please Louise, pull me off a my knees. (bad grammar cringe)

Which tunes get your mops flying?

Hmmm...when I do get around to cleaning the house, it's about swiping at the dust on a corner table with whatever fabric is at hand including my shirtsleeve. Of course I do vacuum because of the long-haired dog but sometimes not until I am sure company is on the way.
However, when rearranging a room for my up-and-coming brilliant career in changing the world through art,I can spend hours carefully moving things around, and even wiping windowsills, all to the repeated tunes on side one and two but especially three of the album Jesus Christ Superstar. (The one where he wakes in the garden of Gethsemane and demands that god explain just why he has to die.) And then he does die on side 4 but I don't always bother to listen to that one.
Anyway, it only goes to show that there is more to life than having to be funny especially if one is as serious as me, so I for one will always love you anyway!
I do still find you amusing though, have you considered that maybe your other pals have just lost their sense of humor?
Take it easy on yourself. And call before coming over so i can pull out the Kirby.

wake me up before you go-go by wham. can we still be friends? that one gets pulled out on very rare occasions, typically when i need motivation to dust. U2, X, Social Distortion or The Clash are all good for doing the dishes.
